Percussion Quartet

Barely Breathing by renown composer Brett Dietz was commissioned by the University of North Texas Percussion Ensemble and its director, Mark Ford. The work was premiered in Paris, France at the French Percussive Arts Society Festival. Barely Breathing is an amazing composition for four multi-percussionists. The musical dialogue between the players features complex rhythms and shifting timbres. The work is engaging and virtuosic. Highly recommended!
