Nostalgia was written in response to the social, political and financial chaos my country Puerto Rico has been experiencing in recent years. In essence, Nostalgia is a musical portrait of my feelings toward this situation. More importantly it represents my optimistic and unwavering faith that soon the people of my country will be able to recover from the despair and uncertainty they are experiencing – Juan Alamo
