Pivot Point is dedicated to my son, Kevin Ford, and was premiered on his senior saxophone recital at
the University of North Texas on October 27, 2015.  The work features an intense dialogue between the saxophone quartet and the marimba with the cajon adding rhythmic groove and impact moments.   This one is a roller coaster!    -Mark Ford
