Purdy’s Maze was commissioned by Professor Christopher Deane for the University of North Texas 12:00 Percussion Ensemble, and was premiered on November 10, 2005 at the University of North Texas by Mike Hodges, Christopher Larson, Cara Schoonover, and Jonathan Jackson.
